Cycling

We have been successfully arranging cycling holidays throughout Dumfries and Galloway region for several years. It is still our main activity.
As a small business with excellent contacts and knowledge of our region, we continue to have the flexibility to arrange cycling breaks to suit your requirements and schedule.

Mountainbiking

Our base in Castle Douglas is in the midst of 5 of the world class 7 Stanes mountain biking centres at Kirroughtree, Glentrool, Dalbeattie, Mabie and Ae.
Drumlanrig Castle and Estate also have excellent trails which are well worth a visit.
We are able to arrange mountain biking breaks - along with assitance from our dedicated mountain biking partners, or incorporate some mountain biking with other activities or local things to see and do for you or members of your party.

Walking

The Galloway Hills are already popular with hill walkers but there are also many more less strenuous coastal, riverside, woodland walks available.
We use our local knowledge to arrange accommodation and provide an itinerary of day walks and other things to see and do in our area for the length of your stay. More info on www.gallowaywalking.co.uk

Car Touring

We use our local knowledge of quality hotel accommodation, great scenery including three National Scenic Areas and many other local attractions throughout the region to offer car tours using your own vehicle or one arranged by us - even a classic car.

Golf Breaks

Along with a local business partner, we are available to arrange golfing breaks in Dumfries and Galloway.
We have played on many of the region's courses and can use our knowledge of excellent hotels and others activities in the area during your stay - for you or other members of your party.

Family History

We offer to provide a genealogy or family history service within Dumfries and Galloway region where we have excellent local knowledge and contacts.
The service includes research - by our research partners, and a guide service for those visiting our area.

Midweek Bowling Breaks

Based at Castle Douglas bowling club with excellent facilities and green, we offer a 5 day/ 4 night break (Mon to Fri) with a minimum of 3 games of bowls.
We also advise on other things to see and do in the area during your stay either before or at your arrival welcome meeting.
Cost is £245 per person including 3 star hotel accommodation. 2008 bowling breaks start from June.

Other Activities

We are continuing to develop our range of activity breaks on offer by using our local contacts network and liaising with other providers in the region.
Several kayaking courses are planned from June 2008.
Sailing and water ski-ing is at nearby Loch Ken

Family Breaks

With our knowledge of the region, we are able to arrange accommodation to suit your requirements and advise on things to see and do in the area for families.
These include farm parks, country parks, outdoor activity centres, family golf centres, beaches etc
